Team Nuts is the obstacle course racing (OCR) team of the Nuts Challenge – a military-style assault course in Dorking. We are passionate about supporting one another, pushing ourselves outside our comfort zones, and taking on nutty challenges.

Formed in 2014, Team NUTS was the brainchild of Wayne Monkman (Owner and Race Director of the NUTS Challenge) and Michael Midgley, who both have military backgrounds and utilised this experience when designing the courses and training for members in years gone by.
We think our team is rather special...

Although we have some incredible talent within the team, Team NUTS does not seek to be an exclusively elite team. There is something here for everyone. Those members who do race competitively have competed at UK, Euro and Worlds level, and we have an age group world champion in Mark Dickson.

We welcome new members regardless of age, experience or ability. Our oldest members are in their 60s, and our youngest are in their teens. We are passionate about working together and supporting one another. We are dedicated to creating a friendly community that races together, trains together and overcomes challenges together.
